Abstract:

               Examination process is an important activity of educational institutions to evaluate student performance.The quality of the exam questions would determine the quality of the students produced by the institution. Preparing exam questions is challenges, tedious and time consuming job for the instructors. Usually the instructors keeping their own repository of questions in some form to help them to prepare for future exams. Current technologies help the instructors to store the questions in computer databases. The issue arise is how the current technologies would also help the instructors to automatically generate the different sets of questions from time to time without concern about repetition and duplication from the pass exam while the repository of exam growing. The paper generator is the one & only software for setting examination question paper. The software performs all tasks related to paper setting, starting from preparing question bank to printing paper. This Software is very useful for small, medium and large scale institutes.

The main role is to provide randomization technique in generating question paper in which different sets of questions could be generated without repetition and duplication. The question papers can be generated for a particular event in the system automatically by just click on one button.

    The system’s major characteristics are openness, convenience and flexibility. The system allows the teachers to act according to their demands and extract each kind of test question quickly from the existing trial question bank to suit an examination paper developed according to the teachers’ needs. Moreover, the examination paper’s difficulty level and form as well as each topic score are determined by the teachers according to the needs. The teacher logs on the system after effective identification authentication in the browser, extracts the paper. The automatic paper generation system is a complex systematic approach to develop through the analysis of examinations in schools. To overcome the tedious work of lecturers/teachers from the preparation of question paper before the test/exams, the system will generate the questions automatically.
